Customer Service Representative, Waterlooville

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join a busy team in Waterlooville. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and analyse customer needs will be crucial in ensuring a positive experience. If you are passionate about helping others and possess strong interpersonal skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate information regarding products and pricing, assisting customers with their queries.
  • Provide quotations for new and existing customer accounts, negotiating prices when necessary.
  • Verify order accuracy and ensure all necessary information is included to meet detailed customer specifications.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to confirm order details, resolve any issues and provide order updates.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, shipping departments and internal sales from other branches to ensure timely order fulfilment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong phone etiquette with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Ability to analyse information and provide solutions based on customer needs.
  • Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records is an advantage.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Please be aware that, due to the responsibilities of the role, GCSE passes in Mathematics and English are required.

Additional Information:

  • Hours of work Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
