This Training and Events Coordinator role is working for an educational service provider in Petersfield. The position is hybrid, offering a Monday to Friday working week, with 2 days worked from home. The hours are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm, with an early finish of 4:30pm on a Friday! The position is paying up to £33,000 depending on experience.

This Operations Executive role also includes benefits such as 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working and access to the pension scheme.

The Training and Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing the delivery of training and events across two businesses within the group. This includes organising and coordinating all training days and events, from small training sessions to large conferences. Key duties involve booking accommodation, arranging travel, managing catering, and overseeing event logistics to ensure smooth execution. A core part of the role is ensuring customer satisfaction by handling complaints, working to resolve issues promptly, and maintaining high service standards. The role will work closely with the Group Operations Manager and other internal teams to ensure that all operational deliverables are met on time. The role also involves dealing with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams in order to maintain clear communication and effective workflow. The successful candidate will be expected to lead and manage events on-site, including setting up, overseeing schedules, managing speakers and panellists, and handling last-minute changes. Post-event tasks include gathering feedback, processing appraisals, and issuing certificates. The position requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with occasional travel to events across the UK.

You will need:

  • To be a driven, self-starting individual
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Experience within the Events Industry (desirable)
  • Strong experience working with CRM systems
  • To be willing to travel to external events when required
  • Great communication and organisation
  • Excellent time management
