Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Payroll Coordinator to join the team.
The primary functions of the Payroll Coordinator is to accurately administrate and process the monthly payrolls working with the Payroll Manager on all brands of the business and pensions payrolls. You will need to work closely with our HR team, Fleet Manager and our Expenses Assistant.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £30,000 Pro Rata, depending on experience, plus 25 days annual leave (pro rata), Christmas shut down, pension after probation.
This is a part time, permanent role. The hours of work will be ideally working 24 – 30 hours over 5 days, however we can be flexible for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Payroll manager your responsibilities will include:
- Alongside the Payroll manager, process monthly payrolls ensuring all employees are correctly compensated, on time and all UK legislative and compliance requirements are met.
- Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll.
- Maintain accurate employee data in Payroll & HR system.
- Process starters, leavers and changes.
- Produce monthly payroll reports for internal and external purposes.
- Assist with any queries.
- Responsible for processing the year end (P60s etc.), completing P11Ds, assisting with PSA returns.
- Support Employee Expenses payment process and work with Fleet Manager on vehicle changes.
The ideal candidate:
- 2 years experience at least within office
- Payroll & Statutory payment experience
- Ideally experience with Sage & ADP
- QBE or payroll qualification.
- Strong excel skills
- Ability to prioritise
