Private Client Paralegal

We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable working independently and values being part of a collaborative team, providing support across various legal departments.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist attorneys by preparing case documents and conducting legal research.
  • Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
  • Help prepare legal arguments, applications, declarations, and motions.
  • Assist lawyers in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
  • Manage case files and other important documents.
  • Communicate with clients and maintain confidentiality of client information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a fee-earning paralegal or legal assistant is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong research and report-generating skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
