Opportunity for a Senior Business Travel Consultant to join an award-winning company in Hampshire. As a Senior Business Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional travel solutions to our corporate clients, delivering tailored services that meet their business needs. You will be a key member of the team, supporting and leading tasks that ensure seamless, efficient, and cost-effective travel planning for clients.
The Job:
- Manage end-to-end business travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
- Provide expert travel advice, ensuring compliance with travel policies and optimizing travel experiences.
- The implementation of new clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their unique travel requirements.
- Enhance current travel programs and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and cost savings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and technology to provide the best service possible.
- Potential to lead and mentor a team, overseeing travel consultants and supporting their growth and development.
- Handle escalated client queries and issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Skills required:
- Extensive experience in business travel consultancy or a similar role.
- A proven ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with strong attention to detail.
- Motivated and proactive, with a desire to enhance existing systems and processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of travel booking tools and platforms.
- Leadership potential, with the ability to take on management responsibilities in the future.
- Proven experience and strong proficiency in using GDS platforms Travelport & Amadeus and online booking tools is essential. Problem solving and ability to think outside the box.
