Finance Business Partner - More Than Just Numbers - Yorkshire based with 2 - 3 days site based - c£45,000 - 50,000 - Specialist Care CharityIf you're a qualified finance professional who wants their work to actually mean something, read on. We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join a well-established Yorkshire-based charity making a genuine difference in people's lives. This isn't about squeezing more profit from the bottom line – it's about ensuring sustainable finances so they can continue providing life-changing support to vulnerable people.What you'll actually be doingYou'll collaborate with operational leaders across the charity to provide financial expertise that drives strategic priorities. You won't be stuck in a corner crunching numbers all day – you'll be out there, working with people, helping them understand their budgets and make informed decisions.Specifically, you'll:
  • Lead on financial sustainability projects that have real impact
  • Support directors and managers with budget management and financial analysis
  • Implement new systems that make everyone's lives easier
  • Coach non-finance people to understand the numbers that matter
  • Maintain the kind of financial controls that let everyone sleep at night
You'll have two Assistant Accountants reporting to you, so there's an opportunity to develop your leadership skills while making a meaningful contribution.You'll thrive here if you:
  • Have an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification (or are actively working toward it)
  • Bring significant finance experience including management and financial accounting
  • Can translate complex financial concepts into language that makes sense to non-finance people
  • Are passionate about service improvement and building relationships
  • Want to apply your financial expertise to support an charity with heart and purpose
  • Value people-centred leadership and emotional intelligence
  • As you'll be covering a broad geographical area (across Yorkshire) you'll need access to a car and get to remote locations as needed
