The role will entail being the go-to expert for your finance matters with a number of business stakeholders, ensuring budgets are well-managed, forecasts are accurate, and financial processes run smoothly.

Description

In this busy and varied Finance Business Partner role based in Pickering, roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Budget Holders and working closely with teams across the organisation to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and analyse variances.
  • Management Reporting, assisting with the month-end process, prepare management accounts, and deliver financial insights that support decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance and all financial activity aligns with tax, payroll, HR, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder engagement with encouragement to build strong relationships to improve financial understanding and provide clear, meaningful advice.
  • Continuously identifying and implementing ways to enhance financial processes and best practices.

Profile

For this Finance Business Partner role, we're looking for:

  • Degree-qualified in a relevant subject or actively studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Experience/exposure in financial planning, budgeting, and management reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of finance systems and internal controls.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
