Reed Practice are looking for a fully qualified senior accountant to join a practice based in Pinner. This role offers a flexible working environment, opportunities for personal development, and a chance to be part of a close-knit team that values each member.

Day to Day of the role

  • Provide comprehensive support within audit and accounting, with the potential to manage your own portfolio of clients.
  • Engage in personable client contact, effectively balancing multiple clients demands.
  • Prepare accounts to finalisation, conduct VAT returns, and participate in audits.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of UK GAAP.
  • Present information and liaise directly with clients of all levels, ensuring a professional service.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be a member of a recognised chartered accountancy body (ACCA, AAT, ACA, ICAEW) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in Audit.
  • Working knowledge of UK GAAP.
  • Presentable with excellent client-facing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of corporation tax and personal tax is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in My Workpapers, CCH, Sage, and Xero is beneficial.
