Are you a First-Class Graduate who is passionate about closing the gap in education disparity and wants to share your knowledge as a Literacy Mentor? Are you looking to communicate with children with and without SEND interactively, in a kind and patient manner?

If so, I am looking for excellent Literacy Mentors to help support students from all walks of life, of all abilities, and help give them the best start in life!

Literacy Mentor | About the role:

  • A Literacy Mentor will support disadvantaged children, children with SEND, and high-achieving children to help push them to break academic barriers.
  • Work alongside the EYFS and KS1 Teachers and the SEND team to provide adequate support for each of the students.
  • Utilise everything you learned at university, and adapt your skills to improve children's English and Literacy skills.
  • Option for schools direct teacher training after a year perfect for Literacy Mentors looking to get into teaching!
Literacy Mentor | What we're looking for:

  • First-class graduates from a Top UK University with a degree in English, Linguistics, Education or Modern Languages.
  • An individual with a passion for working with vulnerable and disadvantaged children and a kind and caring personality.
  • Any previous experience in tutoring or teaching.
  • Anyone with an interest in Linguistics, a Career as a Primary School Teacher or even Speech and Language.
  • Become a Literacy Mentor and work your way towards your future career.
