This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Wages Clerk who would like to join a successful local Company where there will be plenty of opportunity to grow and develop your skills and knowledge further.

Some of your duties will include:

- Assisting with the preparation and production of weekly, fortnightly and monthly staff wages

- Weekly payroll (20 employees), fortnightly payroll (50 employees) and monthly payroll (180 employees)

- Administering payroll from instigation point through to successful employee payment

- Chasing employees to obtain time and attendance details on weekly basis and recording hours worked

- Setting up new starters on the system and processing leaver documentation and final payments

- Processing SSP, SMP, SPP, national insurance, income tax and other statutory deductions
