About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team in Pershore. The ideal candidate should possess engineering qualifications or have good mechanical assembly experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble packaging machinery.

Perform testing and validation of new machines.

Demonstrate machine capability to customer during FAT’s.

Work to technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and work with clients and contractors.

Maintain detailed documentation to track project development and put forward design modifications.

Ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Daily tasks will vary, focusing on manufacturing bespoke machinery tailored to customer requirements.

Experience Required:

Previous mechanical engineering experience preferred.

A mechanically minded individual.

Interest in continuous training and on-the-job learning opportunities.

Ownership mentality toward the company and customers.

NVQ in mechanical engineering or a related field.

1-3 years of relevant engineering experience.

Strong grasp of engineering concepts.

Excellent mathematical skills, capable of applying advanced mathematical principles and statistics to problem-solving.

You will be using a CAD viewer to assemble machinery from.

Exceptional technical, problem-solving, and reasoning abilities.

Effective and clear communication skills.

Self-motivated with a strong team-oriented approach.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Friday: 8 AM to 1:30 PM

38-hours workweek.

Salary:

Starting from £22,500 to £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Christmas shutdown.

Quarterly Staff Lunches.

Healthcare Scheme.

20 days of holidays plus bank holidays.
