Worcester, EnglandAn excellent role on offer for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing company, within an exciting industry, working on niche, bespoke products, with the opportunity to progress through the business into more senior positions.Do you have a background in mechanical design? Are you familiar with rotating machinery, pumps, compressors or similar? Are you looking for a role with technical and career development?On offer is a Mechanical Design Engineer role where you will design special purpose machines to deliver high pressure bespoke requirements to their application requirements. This can be up to 2900 bar for deep ocean environments or 800 bar for onshore industrial applications. You will be involved from cradle to grave and deliver the full design process, designing for manufacture, arranging BOMs, liaising with clients and manufacturing teams.This company specialise in high pressure solutions for a range of different industries such as energy, O&G, and offshore, but also automotive, manufacturing and construction. They are well-established, and due to growth and upcoming projects, are recruiting across the business, including the Design department, both Junior and Senior positions.The ideal candidate will have a good experience in 3D CAD software, a relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, and ideally experience with pumps, high pressure vessels, rotating equipment or hydraulic and pneumatic systems, however experience in similar industries is considered.   • 3D Design using Solid Edge
  • Full design process, liaising with clients and manufacturing staff
  • Designing for manufacture, arranging BOMs

The Person

  • Experience with 3D CAD software
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree/HNC qualified engineer
  • Experience in high pressure pumps/vessels, pneumatics and hydraulics or rotating equipment.
