We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious menu items
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards
- Help develop and implement new recipes and menu items
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Assist in scheduling staff and managing labor costs
- Support the Head Chef in administrative tasks such as budgeting and menu planning
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavors, and presentation
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
