We are now looking for a skilled and versatile accountant to join us in an advisory and support capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role, offering expertise across multiple aspects of accountancy, tax and payroll services.

Role Overview

As an Accountant in our firm, you will be at the heart of our operations, playing a crucial role in supporting both our internal teams and our clients. This role is not just about traditional accountancy; you will be providing advice on payroll matters, offering accountancy and tax support to various internal teams and clients, and guiding clients through software setup and optimisation. Your input will be essential in ensuring that our clients receive top-tier service and that our teams have the expert support they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Advisory: Provide payroll advice to our clients, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations and best practices.
  • Accountancy & Tax Support: Preparation of accounts and tax returns.
  • Software Setup & Advice: Advise clients on the best software solutions for their needs, managing setup and training to ensure smooth implementation.

What Were Looking For

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, ATT, AAT or CTA or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in accountancy, with exposure to payroll, tax, and software setup being highly advantageous.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with accountancy software and systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
