Interim Accountant - TemporaryPlymouth, Devon£35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Our client, a well-established and expanding organisation based in Plymouth, is seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to join their dynamic finance team on a 2-3 month temporary basis.
As the Interim Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the day to day finance operations.
The responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support budgeting with data gathering and financial modelling.
- Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Collaborate cross-functionally for accurate financial reporting.
- Support senior management and finance team with ad hoc tasks.
The candidate:
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant, or Qualified by Experience
- Proven experience in management accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar).
