Interim Financial Controller

Superb interim opportunity for a high calibre Financial Controller to join a large organisation in Plymouth for a period of up to 6 months. Hybrid working arrangements. Working for a prominent local organisation whilst they recruit on a permanent basis, this crucial appointment will take immediate responsibility for the statutory finance functions of the department. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will support them with the smooth running of the day to day financial activities of the organisation. Key responsibilities include: * Ensuring strong financial control of the organisation * Liaising with non-financial stakeholders * Managing a team * Providing financial advice to senior management * Liaising with external agencies and third parties * Budgetary management and control * cashflow forecasting Experience/attributes required: * ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience * Proven track record of strong financial control of a large organisation * Hands on accountant with ability to get into the detail * Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour * Ability to work to tight deadlines * Advanced Excel skills If you are interested in this Interim Financial Controller job in Plymouth, Devon, please contact me on or
