Management Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, who is looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic business environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, budgets, and financial statements, as well as playing a key role in the company’s financial decision-making processes.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
• Monitor and evaluate financial information systems and suggest improvements where needed.
• Implement corporate governance procedures, risk management, and internal controls.
• Assist with budget preparation and budget reviews, providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
• Work with audit and compliance teams to ensure all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
• Liaise with managerial staff and other colleagues to provide support and guidance on financial matters.

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle complex data.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
