Facilities Manager

We have an opportunity for a well organised Facilities Manager to ensure our properties and facilities are aligned with relevant Health & Safety, Environmental, Fire & Security standards.

With over 900,000 visits last year, Saltram is one of the busiest properties in the country. A well-loved parkland used by locals for walking and exercising, a popular garden which changes with the seasons and a treasure house makes Saltram a popular property for a range of audiences. Currently, the Future Saltram Project aims to deliver significant and exciting changes across every area of the property to maximise its commercial potential and deepen audience engagement. For us, facilities aren’t a back office function, so you’ll be out and about inspecting our properties and keeping on top of our systems! As part of the property team you’ll report into the General Manager, and be accountable for the running of all aspects of facilities management across our properties, making sure we are safe and compliant. This role manages our support services as well and you'll act as a Duty Manager on rota. 

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• an understanding of facilities management and maintenance requirements
• good experience of broad compliance and risk management, including knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM regulations, Emergency procedures and Fire & Security procedures.
• good people and customer service skills
• experience of managing budgets, finances, projects and contracts/contractors
• good IT skills
