?We are currently partnering with a South-West based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their team on a three-month contract.

The role is working within the Housing Association’s complex repairs team, focusing on contractor management and working closely with a team of surveyors.

This is a full-time position with paying circa £33 per hour on an Umbrella basis, and they’re looking to start someone ASAP, subject to notice periods.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading a team of surveyors to deliver complex repairs on domestic dwellings
  • Managing complex repairs and ensuring customer satisfaction for all works
  • Developing formal specifications of work
  • Completing pre and post inspections on domestic dwellings, identifying defects and finding faults
  • Ensuring contracts are falling In line with pre-agreed SLAs, and liaise with contractors where works need amending
  • Ensuring health and safety across all projects

Experience and knowledge required:

  • Recent Social Housing experience
  • Access to own vehicle
  • A basic DBS
