Office based
Hourly rate: £12.84
Working Days/Hours: 37 hours: Monday- Friday- shift patterns which range between 7:30-16:00 and 09:00-18:00.

Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their Meet and Greet customer services team as a team leader.
Experience Needed/desired:

• Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
• Candidates must have strong resilience and the ability to work under pressure and dealing with vulnerable customers.
• At least five GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2 qualifications) at grade 4/C or above, including Maths, English Language.
• Candidate must be willing to work 100% from office

List the duties/ responsibilities:
Welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner, guiding and helping them through their visit to one of our locations. Escort the customers on site; ensure they feel welcomed and are comfortable and ready to conduct their asylum interviews. Responsible for general operation of the interview, including processing any documents, ensuring connectivity with the interviewing officer and other relevant parties.

Training:
The Home Office will provide a 4 week training period, consisting of shadowing experienced team members and on the job learning.
Please note that no annual leave will be permitted during the 4 weeks of training.

Role specific requirements:
You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 5 years. Please note that period of 6 months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last 5 years will unfortunately not be accepted. This role requires security clearance that will be processed for you, if successful.
