Assistant Store Manager

45 Hours Per Week 

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including customer service, sales, inventory management, and staff supervision. This role is crucial in ensuring the store meets its sales goals, provides excellent customer service, and maintains a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Sales: Assist in achieving sales targets and store profitability goals. Implement sales strategies and promotions.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and motivate store staff. Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating employees. Schedule shifts and manage time-off requests.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and manage replenishment. Ensure accurate product displays and pricing.
  • Store Operations: Maintain store cleanliness and organization. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist in opening and closing the store.
  • Financial Management: Assist in managing the store's budget, including expenses and payroll. Handle cash and banking procedures.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze sales reports. Provide insights and recommendations to the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a retail management role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
