About the Role:Hays are looking for a proactive and experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to join our client's client's team at a leading Further Education (FE) organisation in the Plymouth area. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £200 - £300 and is set to start in February 2025. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and strategic advice to support our institution's goals.Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Support the company strategy and financial planning process, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights that help departments make informed decisions.
  • Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with various departments to align financial goals with business strategies.
  • Advisory Role: Offer strategic advice to senior management on financial matters.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally, a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Consideration will be given to non-qualified candidates with substantial experience in education finance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
