Interim Finance ManagerLocation: Plymouth Area Hours: 37 hours per week Rate: £200 - £350 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP - likely to be up to 6 monthsWorking Arrangement: Hybrid working availableAbout the Role:Hays Senior Finance are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join a small but dynamic charity in the Plymouth area. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organisation, which has an annual turnover of £2 million to £3 million.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage the charity's budget, forecasts, and financial planning.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and charity-specific requirements.
- Work closely with the Administrator, Assistant Administrator, and Finance Assistant to support the organisation's financial needs.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the senior management team and trustees.
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within the charity sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and charity accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
