- Manage and maintain the purchase ledger, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Oversee and manage payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid on time.
- Take responsibility for pre-payments and accruals, ensuring accurate month-end reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis.
- Oversee and support junior members of the finance team, offering guidance and ensuring best practices are maintained.
- Collaborate closely with the senior management team, providing insights and financial updates as required.
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, payment runs, pre-payments, and accruals.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience overseeing team members or providing mentorship.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
