We represent a thriving, independent firm of accountants tasked with finding a talented Personal Tax Manager to join their experienced team in Plympton on a hybrid working basis.

This role will suit an ambitious tax accountant, qualified toCTA andACA, ACCA or CA level or QBE, and with significant personal tax advisory experience. You’ll be a confident manager and have brilliant organisational and leadership skills to ensure the remote team remains focused and workflow on track to meet essential deadlines.

We’re searching for a confident, technically excellent and motivated tax accountant who can review and complete persona; tax returns and provide a full suite of predominantly advisory services. Job Purpose

  • Working in support of the Partners preparing and reviewing personal tax advisory projects.
  • Analyse and interpret data and prepare tax advice based on findings.
  • Preparing tax reports.
  • Liaising with HMRC.
  • Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Meeting with clients in the field to provide tax advisory services.
  • Encourage, support, and mentor junior team members, overseeing professional development and championing customer service excellence.
  • Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients.
  • Offering first class communication internally and externally both written and verbal.
