Our client is an established, reputable and busy Estate & Letting Agency based in the Plymouth City Centre area. They are seeking an experienced Level 3 AAT accountancy professional to join their team and to deal with the lettings and estate agency bookkeeping and accounts within the office.Daily duties will include to: Process rent increases, confirm tenancy renewals are correct, process deposit returns, file business expenses, add interim bills to CRM or monthly charges spreadsheet, add LL bank details to the system.Weekly Duties to include: Using Xero for all accounting, registering new deposits and deposit releases, account reconciliation, processing business expenses, cash flow checks, preparing KPI’s for weekly meetings.Monthly duties to include: Preparation of spreadsheets, monthly management accounts, payroll, pension filings, processing property chares, internal auditing and petty cash reconciliation.You will also be responsible for Vat returns, NRL payments, EOY accounts preparation, corporation tax payments, health checks and External audits, membership and insurance renewals, monitoring rent arrears, overseeing compliance and introducing updates when required, monitoring bank transactions and doing bank reconciliations.This is Monday to Friday working and after the six month probation period they could be some scope for hybrid working.
