Are you an experienced Food Production Operative looking for a full time temporary (possibly leading to temporary to permanent for the right candidate) opportunity to work for long-standing local company in the Plymouth area? Pay Rate is £11.44 per hour rising to £15.22 after 40 standard hours worked within the week.

Wise Employment are currently recruiting and seeking experienced food production operatives for our client based on the outskirts of Plymouth City Centre.

You will be flexible on working hours as the key hours are 7am to 430pm Monday to Friday but there may be occasions to stay on later in order to fulfill orders and customer requirements, especially during peak periods and overtime after 40 hours is applicable.

The role will see you preparing raw food products (meat) including; prepping, slicing, packaging, labelling ready for distribution and also reading from order sheets.  You will need to be prepared to work in a cold and wet environment.

You will need to be physically fit due to the size of the product and used to working in a fast paced environment working to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining and delivering the highest standard of hygiene and results.

Overalls and protective footwear will be provided and other necessary PPE if required (Hair/beard nets, gloves).
