gap personnel Exeter are recruiting for multiple General Operative on a temp to perm basis for our client based at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, Devon. Â
You will be joining a leading company that provides Engineering Services to the Defence, Security, Nuclear and Emergency Services.
As a General Operative you will be required to undertake a wide variety of tasks across the site, tasks include strapping down boats to dock.
About you:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to work at height or in confined spaces.
- Counterbalance FLT Licence (Desirable)
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
- Boating or Dockyard experience is beneficial.
Pay & Hours:
- £16.44ph, paid weekly
- Monday to Thursday (0730am – 1530pm) & Friday 0730am – 1230pm, 35hours per week.

Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
