About the Role

I'm looking for a skilled and passionate Multi Skilled Engineer with a background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with industrial maintenance experience. As part of our engineering team, you’ll be key to keeping production processes running smoothly by performing both proactive and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Activities: Perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose solutions for ongoing improvements across the plant's machinery and processes.
  • Technical Development: Stay up-to-date and continuously improve your skills on site machinery and new equipment as it becomes available.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring all maintenance work contributes to a safe and compliant work environment.
The Ideal Candidate

I'm seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong electrical skills with experience in fault finding on electrical control panels, inverter drives, and pneumatic systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a broad understanding of mechanical components and systems within a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the FMCG sector or a similar industrial setting.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve faults effectively.
