We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Quality Systems Manager / Quality Assurance and Compliance Auditor with sound knowledge of manufacturing and operational processes, ISO 9001:2015, lead audit qualification and good team management / supervisory skills.
Working as the Quality Systems Manager / Quality Assurance and Compliance Auditor you will report to the Quality Director, creating, managing, maintaining and developing the company’s quality management system in line with the company’s evolution, ensuring compliance and ongoing certification to ISO 9001:2015.
As the Quality Systems Manager / Quality Assurance and Compliance Auditor you will be responsible for the creation and ownership of the internal audit plan whilst ensuring issues are effectively resolved and assessed for ongoing improvement of the management system.
The role has multi-level interfaces within the business, therefore maintaining relationships with stakeholders is a key requirement. Strong leadership is an integral part of the role and success of the overall department.
The role of Quality Systems Manager / Quality Assurance and Compliance Auditor will require an autonomous leader who can manage day-to-day issues as well as strategise for the future.

DUTIES
Your duties and key responsibilities will include:
- Ownership, management and development of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. Ensuring compliance and ongoing certification to ISO 9001:2015
- Primary contact with the ISO 9001:2015 certification body. Responsible for the planning and management of all aspects of ISO 9001:2015 certification program
- Creation, ownership and management of the internal audit program
- Perform internal audits in line with the internal audit program
- Management of corrective actions, steering process owners to complete root cause analysis and create corrective actions plans to resolve issues identified during audits
- Support the business with the creation of policies, procedures and other system documents
- Maintain and continually improve the company document management system
- Review, approve and process any change requests relating to the quality management system, including ownership of the Product Trials Register
- Reporting and ownership of metrics in relation to the quality management system
- Creation of training material in relation to the quality management system
- Assist the Quality Director with continual improvement activities to enhance the Quality Management System
- Act as an Ambassador for the company, operating with integrity and drive appropriate to the Company’s values, to promote it as a market leader
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- A sound knowledge of manufacturing and operational processes
- Familiar with quality management and the requirements of ISO 9001:2015
- Experience of document creation (Tech content, Process flows, RACI etc) and document management
- Lead auditor qualification is essential
- Familiar with root cause and corrective action techniques
- Good communication skills and ability to engage with all areas of the business
- Experience in team management
- Relevant / suitable qualifications both administrative and technical
- Conscientious, reliable and dedicated
- Able to manage and work under own initiative
- Engages with others and has a collaborative approach
- Proactively contributes within a team
