Cure Talent are thrilled to partner with a global Med-Tech leader who are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Plymouth.

With a legacy of over 100 years in the medical industry, our partner is committed to improving the lives around the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-speed assembly machines at optimal performance, driving improvements through planned and reactive maintenance and troubleshooting.

This is a Monday-Friday days role.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the output of high-volume manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include maintaining automated assembly machines, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, liaising with external partners, and supporting the resolution of quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to ensure continuous manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance and provide technical input to maintain and improve process yields and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the Projects Team to implement equipment changes and upgrades.
  • Fault find and maintain automated equipment, continually improving systems and processes.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records in line with stringent quality standards.

To be successful:

  • Educated in an Electrical or Mechanical Discipline(ONC, HNC, HND, or degree)
  • Experience in an automated manufacturing setting
  • Microsoft Proficient
  • Maintain high standards of record keeping and adherence to quality systems.
