This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to a high-profile project.Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Scope Capture:Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the project work scope, including the development of Product Breakdown Structure (PBS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Statement of Work (SOW), and Basis of Estimate (BOE).
  • Schedule Development:Create and maintain a credible project schedule in line with Submarines Planning & Scheduling Guidelines.
  • Schedule Management:Ensure schedules are generated, maintained, and updated in accordance with the planning cycle.
  • Issue Resolution:Identify and address schedule impact issues, ensuring solutions align with quality, cost, and time constraints.
  • Progress Updates:Coordinate live progress update sessions to gather accurate project status information.
  • Reporting & Analysis:Produce monthly management reports, including milestone slippage, critical path analysis, resource demand & availability, float erosion, and schedule risks. Perform schedule variance analysis and trigger exception reports as needed.
  • Earned Value Management:Utilise Earned Value Management techniques to monitor project performance.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Security Clearance:Active SC clearance without any caveats is required.
  • Project Management Skills:Strong understanding of project management within a complex environment, using an Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Scheduling Expertise:Proficient in scheduling software (Primavera P6) and its functionalities.
  • EVM Awareness:Familiarity with or willingness to learn Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
  • Detail-Oriented:Ability to deliver accurate work within monthly reporting cycles, prioritising project deadlines.
  • Relationship Builder:Eager to engage with key stakeholders and understand the business to build strong relationships.
  • Qualifications:Entry-level qualification (HNC or Foundation Degree) is desirable.
