My client are seeking a talented and experienced Principal or Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:-Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying new opportunities for business growth

-Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary design team to meet project objectives and deliver projects on time

-Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure timely delivery within financial and time constraints

-Ensure the delivery of high-quality mechanical engineering designs in compliance with national and international standards and regulations

-Provide mechanical design services to buildings and infrastructure projects

-Compile technical specifications, drawings, and contract documents

-Manage scope and schedule changes, ensuring effective cost and planning control

-Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications:-A degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent qualification (or equivalent experience)

-A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record on both small and large-scale projects

-Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Cymap, and Microsoft Office

-Full UK driving licence

-Excellent written and spoken English and strong interpersonal skills

-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

-Solid understanding of budget setting, financial management, and project delivery
