SALARY: up to £28,000 PA

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and well-organised Assistant Office Manager to join an exciting new project in Devonport, on a temporary basis for a minimum until the end of December however there may be permanent opportunities available on the project for the right candidate. As an Assistant Office Manager you will be responsible organising all administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the office. You must be available or on a short notice period to be considered for this role. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Being the first point of contact for all visitors, suppliers and colleague
  • Ensuring all administrative processes work efficiently and effectively and ensuring all legislative requirements are followed
  • Responsible for ensuring all records are kept up to date and main office safety procedures
  • Approving supply requisitions and planning office systems for implementation
  • Helping set up new offices across the site
  • Supporting the team with the submittal of weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Other administration duties to support the team

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proactive, organised and attentive individual
  • Previous experience supporting senior management level teams
  • Strong IT skills with knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information
