Cover Supervisor's needed in Plymouth

Do you have experience working with young adults between the ages 11-16? Are you looking to get into teaching but not sure where to start? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining a positive learning environment for our students during the absence of their regular teachers. Long and short term position's available, full-time or part-time, providing flexibility to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Management: Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a safe and orderly learning environment.
  • Lesson Delivery: Facilitate pre-prepared lessons and activities, ensuring students' engagement and understanding.
  • Student Support: Offer guidance and support to students, helping them with questions or concerns related to the lesson.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete any necessary administrative duties such as taking attendance and providing feedback to the regular classroom teachers.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • A degree or equivalent qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in handling different subjects and age groups.
