Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: Plymouth & Southwest

Salary: 38,000 - 49,000 plus car allowance/company car, mileage expenses, private healthcare, excellent in-house training and career progression.

The Company:

A well respected and highly regarded tier 1 main contractor who operates across multiple sectors. These include, Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Residential, and MOJ, where your typical project value will be in the region of 15m - 30m.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Surveyor / Commercial Manager
Administration of subcontract works packages
Assist in the production and issue of commercial notices, to both the Client and Subcontractors
Provide information to the Commercial team

Requirements:

Experience working for a UK main contractor as the Assistant Surveyor
Ambitions to progress your career to the Quantity Surveyor / Senior / Commercial Manager
Ability to use Microsoft Office and bespoke packages
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and can work to tight deadlines.
Willingness to undertake training and development
Based in Plymouth and the surrounding areas
