An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established and busy letting and property management agency as an experienced property manager in the Plymouth area with up to £31,000 on target earnings.This is one of the biggest independent agents in the South West with a large portfolio of student and residential properties and no weekend working. The role of the Property Manager is as stated below:
- General administration, customer services
- Organising pre-check out inspections / interim inspections, and general maintenance issues
- Organising check out inspections and dealing with DPS for deposit releases Property management and maintenance
- Ensuring all gas safety certificates are in date and ordering new when existing certificates are due to expire
- Ensuring the branch is fully compliant
- Dealing with landlords and tenants in the case of DPS disputes
- Ensuring the branch is fully compliant with all regulations
- Dealing with tenancy renewals, rent increases, serving the correct and relevant notices to tenants
- Dealing with all rent arrears
- Any other relevant duties as required
Ideally the client is looking for an experienced property manager but will also consider a lettings administrator or negotiator seeking a move into property management. You will need to be a car driver with your own car (if under 25) or pool car use. The client will happily support you through your ARLA qualifications and pays more for fully qualified candidates.
Salary in the region of £25,000-27,000 basic and on target earnings £28-31,000 depending on level of experience and ARLA qualifications. Pool car provided or mileage allowance if using own car. Monday to Friday working and contracted to work one in three Saturdays but staff currently working NO Saturdays.This role is full time and permanent on a 40 hour week.
