Sporty/Outdoors and Resilient Teaching Assistant Needed ASAP

Do you love the thrill of outdoor adventures? Do you have the compassion and patience to support children with very complex need through your love of the outdoors?

 Join our team in Plymouth as a Teaching Assistant and inspire children to engage in extracurricular events, including exciting trips to the moors, kayaking and abseiling! Pay rate: £85-£95 a day, dependent on experience. Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-2-1 support to students with diverse needs, including Autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and behavioural challenges.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with the staffing team within the school to ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs.
  • Compassionate and patient character.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Driving license preferred but not required if you have adequate travel arrangements.
