GSL Education is currently working with an SEN school in Plymouth to recruit dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential for permanent positions. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and making a positive impact in their lives.

The school provides a personalised educational experience for students with complex needs, offering tailored support, including one-to-one assistance and customised timetables. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students at risk of requiring residential placements or transitioning back from out-of-county care. The school caters to students across Key Stages 1 to 4, and multiple roles are available.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students as a learning mentor.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to develop comprehensive support plans.
• Create a nurturing environment to enhance students' social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Assist with academic tasks and implement behavioural strategies to encourage positive outcomes.

• UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle with business insurance.
• Availability to start immediately in a full-time, term-time role.
