SUPPLY SEN Teaching Assistants- URGENT requirement for Plymouth 

Location: PLYMOUTH

Salary:   £83.33 per day   

Start Date: Immediately

We are working with MULTIPLE Special Needs Schools who are seeking FULL TIME SEN Teaching Assistants available to work on a regular yet flexible basis. 

The schools are based in and around Plymouth.

We have MULTIPLE vacancies available (approx. 10) all for full time, long term roles.

These schools cater from KS1 to KS4 focusing on children who are Autistic/ on the spectrum and have SEMH needs.

Requirements:  

  • Candidates who have previous experience with SEN will be given preference. 
  • Ideally have a UK driving licence and own car OR be willing to use public transport
  • A couple of these roles do not require a driving licence so please do still apply!
  • Strong communication abilities are imperative. 
  • We highly value qualities like compassion, patience, and empathy. 
  • Adaptability and flexibility in various situations are essential. 
  • A dedication to fostering the success and well-being of students is paramount. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Support students along their educational journey as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant. 
  • Create diverse methods tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. 
  • Work closely with educators, therapists, and families to design effective support plans. 
  • Cultivate a positive environment to enhance social and communication abilities. 
  • Execute consistent interventions and engage in activities to encourage academic advancement and success.
