Job Description:Â We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Mentors to join our team and support SEN schools in the South West. We offer a variety of opportunities to suit your needs, including temporary, long-term, and permanent positions. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we have options available to match your preferences and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group mentoring to students with special educational needs.
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and report on student progress and development.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in mentoring or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the needs of students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
