School Sports Coach and TA

Plymouth
Travelling in and around Plymouth including PL4, PL6.

We are working with schools across Plymouth who are seeking full time Teaching Assistants with a background in Sports. Those who are keen to support with PE and Forest School would United Kingdom (required)

Most of the schools we support work with children from ages 2-19 with additional needs focusing on Autism, ADHD and SEMH.

Candidates with a UK driving license and own car will be prioritised.

Responsibilities:    

  • Guide students as a Teaching Assistant, offering personalised guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Support within outdoor education, forest school and PE
  • Foster a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.
  • Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behavior challenges and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:    

  • Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions 
  • Applicants holding a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised. 
  • Demonstrated Patience and Empathy along with flexibility and adaptability
