We have a fantastic opportunity to work as a behaviour mentor, playing a crucial role in supporting pupils who have had difficulty thriving in mainstream schools, special schools or are returning from out of county placements.

Every student has a high level of support, often including 1:1 support and bespoke timetables following thematic learning experiences. A wide range of personlised learning in and out of the classroom is designed to engage the student, build resilience, and provide the foundation for rapid academic progress.

We are seeking to appoint multiple full time behaviour mentors to work across their primary or secondary sites.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to get one

  • Be confident working within small groups and 1:1

  • Relevant experience working with children (or adults) with special educational needs

  • A passion for working with children and young people in SEN settings

  • Have a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle

  • Minimum of level 2 qualification or equivalent

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has experience working within a SEN setting and has a passion to develop this further. This role would also be perfect for someone with a healthcare/support worker/sports coach background.

There will be opportunities to progress onto a permanent position should you prove to be an excellent addition to the team.
