They are currently seeking a dynamic Merchandise Planning Manager to join their team at the Head Office in Plymouth.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Review the daily suite of availability reports and take action on any issues affecting product availability.
  • Conduct analyses with the web logistics team to identify and address potential stock issues before they escalate.
  • Monitor KPIs and escalate critical issues as needed.
  • Liaise with logistics teams and other departments to manage master and component SKUs, ensuring accurate profiling and range planning.
  • Ensure floorplans align with store data and Planogram allocations, identifying discrepancies and correcting them in collaboration with store teams.
  • Ensure that planograms, bay counts, and gradings in the system match the physical store layouts.
  • Review new stores and ensure full availability of stock.
  • Work with the team to address out-of-stock situations by finding replacement SKUs or leveraging Sales Stock Analysis and Replacement SKUs Reports.
  • Liaise with the buying and merchandising teams to phase out old stock and support stores with stock exits where necessary.
  • Analyse profiles and ensure that SKUs are stocked appropriately to avoid low stock or out-of-stock situations between deliveries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a logistics/merchandising role is desirable.
  • Ability to code in SQL is desirable; full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as logistics, buying, and merchandising.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, primarily Excel.
  • Self-starter with a good eye for detail.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions based on findings.
