Maths Tutor
Location: Pocklington, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £26 – £35 per hour
Start Date: Immediately
Contract: Part-Time
GSL Education is working closely with a Secondary School in Pocklington, providing 1:1 tuition for Key Stage 3 and GCSE students requiring additional support, or unable to access education on school site. As such, we are looking to appoint an experienced Maths Tutor to work with a Year 11 student, providing academic support in the run to the GCSE exam period.
As the successful Maths Tutor, you should:
- Hold a relevant Degree or teaching qualification such as PGCE or Cert Ed.
- Have experience planning and delivering GCSE Maths.
- Have knowledge and experience of additional needs such as Autism, ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
- Be familiar with the EdExcel exam board.
To work with GSL Education as a Maths Tutor, you will need to have:
- An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
- The ability to provide references that cover the last two years of employment, including your current/most recent employment.
- An updated CV that covers the last 10 years, including any gaps in employment.
