Permanent Quantity Surveyor Opportunity – Grangemouth

Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? Our client, a well-established and respected construction company, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering and building projects in the East of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cost management for civil engineering and building projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare and review tender documentation, cost estimates, and budgets.
  • Monitor project financials, including cost control and forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule.
  • Manage contractual agreements, including negotiations and variations.
  • Prepare valuations, progress reports, and final accounts.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a focus on civil engineering and building projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction cost management and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential.
