Background Due to continued growth and a successful FY22, Your client are looking to expand our sales team further through the addition of a Service and Maintenance National Business Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the fastest growing companies in the fire and security industry. The Role Reporting directly into the UK Sales Manager, this is an excellent role for an experienced Business Development Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career progression. This is a 100% business development role, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of securing new business service and maintenance contracts at a regional or national level. Support and product training will be given but this would suit a candidate with a background in the Fire and Security Industry as independent working will be required early on in the role. Location We are a Pontefract based company and the candidate must be able to commute to our offices, however, the majority of the time, the candidate will be field based and covering the whole of the UK mainland so travel will be required as part of the role. Candidate Profile
  • Background in either sales, security, health and safety or loss prevention or similar related technical field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Has a proven record of selling service and maintenance contracts on a regional or national scale
  • Experienced in selling to Public Sector, Retail, Manufacturing and/or Warehousing clients
  • Is able to generate own appointments and leads and already has existing relationships with Loss Prevention Managers/ Security Managers/ Health and Safety Managers/ Regional Managers in the above industries
  • Desirable is some technical knowhow as this will help with the identification of system, but support can be given in presenting product from a technical perspective as required by other staff members if necessary.
