Uniserve, a leading logistics and freight forwarding company, seeks a driven and organised Transport Planning Supervisor to join our growing team.

The shift pattern is 5 on 2 off then 5 on 3 off .

Week One 10am until7pm

Week Two 6am until 4pm.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the activities of our transport fleet, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Plan and approve efficient transport routes that comply with regulations (WTD & drivers' hours).
  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide clear instructions to drivers.
  • Develop cost-effective transport plans using customer IT software.
  • Support the Transport Planning Manager in driving departmental success.
  • Monitor transport management software and ensure departmental efficiency.
  • Liaise with depots, customers, and sales teams to resolve delivery issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold health & safety regulations within the department.
  • Bridge the gap between sales and operations, fostering a seamless customer experience.

You bring:

  • Experience with transport management systems.
