Plastering Tutor

C S Plastering School is seeking a qualified plasterer to join our team as a tutor.

About the Role:

• Deliver four-day plastering courses to small groups of students (maximum 3)
• Adapt teaching to individual student needs
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Requirements:

• NVQ Levels 1 & 2 Plastering Certificates
• Experience as a plasterer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain plastering techniques clearly
• Patience and a passion for teaching

Work Schedule:

• Start Time: 8:00 AM
• Finish Time: Varies, Day 1: Approximately 3:30-4:30 PM
  Day 2: Approximately 3:30 PM (can be earlier)
  

  Day 3: Approximately 2:30-3:30 PM (can be earlier)
  

  Day 4: Course content typically complete by lunchtime (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM). Customers may stay for an additional skim, finishing by approximately 1:30-2:30 PM.
• Lunch Break: Flexible
• Weekends: £150 per Saturday & Sunday (total of £600 for the four days)
• Bank Holidays: Paid at £150 per day

Compensation:

• Daily Rate: £100 per day (£400 for four-day course)
• Weekend Course: £150 per day (£600 for four days)
• Self-employed status :Tutor is responsible for all taxes and National Insurance contributions associated with their self-employed status.

Additional Information:

• Company provides materials and tools
• Tutor may assist with course cleanup
