A leading manufacturing business is seeking a HR Officer to play a key role in strengthening our Human Resources team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-established HR professional to make an impact in a thriving business environment.

Responsibilities of a HR Officer:

  • Provide generalist HR support across the business, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations (ER) cases, including investigations, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
  • Support recruitment activities, including drafting job adverts, conducting interviews, and onboarding.
  • Oversee absence management and advise on strategies for improvement.
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure accurate reporting of employee data.
  • Deliver training sessions and support employee development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Successful HR Officer will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR Officer role, ideally within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Confident handling ER cases and advising managers on HR matters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Highly organized, with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
